The Co-teachers feature lets you share a Grouper class with another teacher. A co-teacher gets full access to your class — they can view and edit student data, create groupings, and use all Grouper features for that class. Co-teachers also get access to PRO features for the shared class, even if they are on the Free plan.

Co-teachers is a PRO feature.

Only the class owner can invite co-teachers.

1. Open a class.

2. Open the three-dot menu in the top toolbar and select Manage co-teachers.

3. Enter the co-teacher's email address.

4. Check the confirmation box to confirm this person is authorized to access your students' data.

5. Click Invite.

The co-teacher receives an email invitation. Their status appears as Invited until they sign in to Grouper and accept.

When invited, you'll receive an email with a link to join the class. Click the link to accept and the class will appear in your class list.

The class owner can view and manage all co-teachers from the Manage co-teachers menu:

1. Open a class.

2. Open the three-dot menu in the top toolbar and select Manage co-teachers.

Co-teachers have full access to the shared class features, including:

Exceptions: Co-teachers cannot invite additional co-teachers — only the class owner can do that. Co-teachers also can't archive or delete a class.

Check to make sure you entered the correct email address, or ask the recipient to check their spam folder. You can also use Resend invite from the Manage co-teachers menu.

They haven't signed in to Grouper and accepted the invite. Ask them to do so. Use Resend invite if needed.

Open the class, go to the Manage co-teachers menu, and remove yourself.
