Overview
Your Grouper account settings are managed from the Account page at grouper.school/account. From there you can update your display name, manage your profile picture, view your email address, and delete your account if needed.
Display name
You can update your display name at any time from the Profile section of the Account page. Changes take effect immediately. Your display name appears in class views and in team membership lists.
Email address
Your email address is displayed on the Account page but cannot be changed. Grouper does not support email address changes.
If you need to use a different email address, you will need to create a new Grouper account — signing up is free at grouper.school/signup.
If you have an active PRO subscription: Contact [email protected] to request that your PRO access be transferred to the new account. We handle these on a case-by-case basis to help ensure student and user data is protected and transferred appropriately.
Profile picture
Your profile picture appears in the app sidebar and in team membership views.
How profile pictures work:
If you signed up with Google, Grouper uses your Google profile picture by default.
Clever sign-in does not provide a profile picture — Grouper will show your initials instead.
You can upload a custom profile picture from the Account page (maximum 5 MB, any standard image format). Your upload replaces the default.
You can remove your custom picture at any time. After removal, Grouper will show your initials instead of any photo.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your Grouper account from the Account page. This will delete your account access and any non-anonymized data that Grouper is not required to retain for compliance purposes. This action cannot be undone.
If you have an active PRO subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your billing. Contact [email protected] if you need help with cancellation before or after deleting your account.
