Overview
In the Grouping and Seating views you can move around, select students, and move them between groups or seats without using a mouse. In the List view you can move between cells and fill in attribute values from the keyboard. This article is the full reference for all three.
The shortcuts teachers reach for most often — undo, redo, and building a selection — are also noted in the articles for each view.
For general grouping actions, see the Grouping basics support article.
For seat layout and general seating actions, see the Seating basics support article.
For working with attribute values in the table, see the Making groupings and seatings with student data support article.

Enter or Space on a group moves into it, so you can reach the students inside.

List view
The List view is a table, so the keyboard work here is moving between cells and filling in values.
Filling in values
Enter saves the value in an attribute cell and moves down to the next student in the same column, returning to the top when it reaches the bottom. This is the quickest way to fill in one attribute for the whole class.
Tab saves the value and moves to the next cell across the row.
Moving around
Tab and Shift+Tab move from cell to cell.
Alt+Up and Alt+Down move up and down a column, staying in the same attribute.
